Introduction About the College
A.J. Institute of Medical Sciences Mangalore (AJIMS Mangalore) was established by Laxmi Memorial Education Trust. It’s one of the most chosen MCI recognized minority medical colleges in Karnataka offering undergraduate – MBBS Course and postgraduate – MD , MS & Diploma courses. The infrastructure of the medical college is well designed and properly maintained by the management. Admission to MBBS / MD / MS / Diploma course at AJ Medical College Mangalore takes place through KEA/NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test). Students who qualify in the medical entrance exam can secure a seat through merit or under management quota. NRI students must appear for NEET in order to secure direct admission under NRI quota.

Overview:
AJ Institute of Dental Sciences is a brilliant multi-speciality hospital cum college which is managed by Laxmi Memorial Trust(R). This educational organisation was opened by Mr.A.J.Shetty.
Objective: To Provide International Standard dental education for all students and achieve the objective of “Health for All“.
The first batch of students were enrolled in the year 2002. The campus is spread in 30 acre of land of blushy green and the coastals of Mangalore City. The college has everytime bus facility to railway station, airport and bus stands.
AJIDS has well built buildings and blocks of the campus. The college has all the latest instruments and materials used in dentisty. The class rooms are also well made with international standards. Apart from class rooms the college have audio-visual and seminar rooms too.

AJ Dental College Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor of Dental Surgery(BDS):
Course Duration: 4 + 1 Year Internship
For admission towards BDS in AJ Institute of Dental Sciences the following are the criteria:
- Candidate must pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Candidate must score at least 50% in PCB i.e Physics,Chemistry and Biology.
- The candidate must compulsory pass English Subject during the 10+2 or equivalent examination.
- The candidate must be of at least 17 years of age during the admission procedure of that academic year.
Entrance Exam Eligibility for Admission towards BDS:
- Candidates who want to join AJ Dental College must quality NEET(National Eligibility Entrance Test) UG Entrance Exam of that academic year without fail.
- The qualified candidates will be informed and allotted a set according to the merit list.
Masters of Dental Surgery(MDS):
Course Duration: 3 Years
If a candidate wish to take admission in AJ Dental College for MDS course must have the following Eligibility:
- The candidate must have a BDS Degree or Equivalent which is recognized by Dental Council of India.
