About Vinayaka Missions Karaikal 

MBBS at Vinayaka Missions Medical College : Karaikal is one of the four regions of the Union Territory of Pondicherry in India. All India Common Entrance Examinations
All India Common Entrance Examination for various courses offered by Vinayaka Missions University will be conducted at various centres throughout India by Vinayaka Missions University. The details of various examination centres and dates of examination will be notified in the national newspapers. The details will also be available in the Vinayaka Missions University website.

Application Procedures

• Candidates may directly apply to the University for getting the prescribed application from for any particular course.
• Application fee for the individual courses will be notified in the newspapers.
• Applicants may refer to the list of courses offered. Candidates who are desirous to apply for different courses must submit separate application forms.
• Admissions are (including foreign/ NRI students), subject to eligibility and according to the norms set by the Supreme Court of India, Government of India and Government of TamilNadu. Puducherry, from time to time.

Code of Conduct for the Students

• The students should conduct themselves in an exemplary manner so as to be a model for others.
• All students will have to strictly adhere, to the rules and regulations of the college.
• If any student is involved in ragging or eve teasing or any anti-social activity, he / she will be expelled from the institution  / University and criminal proceeding may be initiated against them.
• The students should be present in the classes during all the working hours and sincerely apply their mind to studies.
• A minimum attendance of 80% is required for appearing in the University examinations.
• Students should not participate in strikes or resort to any violent form of demonstration or unruly behavior.
• The students should always carry with them, the identity card issued by the institution / University.
• The progress of the students shall be intimated periodically to the parents. Change of address if any, should be communicated to the University office immediately.

Documents to be submitted at the time of Admission
The following documents should be produced in Original along with one set of photocopies at the time of admission.

• Mark sheet of the qualifying examination.
• Pass certificate of the qualifying examination.
• X std mark sheet or certificate (for Proof of Date of Birth)
• Transfer Certificate
• Migration Certificate
• Community Certificate
• Joint declaration by applicant and parent as per format.
• Four copies of Recent Stamp size colour photographs
• Six copies of Passport size colour photographs.

The foreign / NRI students should produce the following documents (in original along with one set of Xerox copies)
The following documents should be produced in Original along with one set of photocopies at the time of admission.

• No objection certificate from the Government of India (Issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi)
• Student visa issued and endorsed by the competent authority. No objection Certificate issued by the Ambassador of the Candidates country or the competent authority to grant permission to stay and pursue education in India.
• All the relevant travel documents including the Passport.
• Necessary health certificates and Vaccination Certificates.
• Necessary health insurance certificates.
• Mark sheet of the qualifying examination.
• Pass certificate of the qualifying examination.
• X std mark sheet or certificate (for Proof of Date of Birth)
• Transfer Certificate
• Migration Certificate
• Community Certificate

The filled in applications should e accompanied along with attested copies, the following documents

• X std / matriculation / secondary school pass certificate issued by the respective board of examination after 10 years of study.
• Mark sheet of the qualifying examination.
• Pass certificate of the qualifying examination.
• Transfer certificate.
• Migration certificate.
• Community Certificate.
• Recent Passport size Photographs.

Instructions to the Candidates for filling in the Application forms

• Forms must be filled in candidate’s own handwriting.
• Fill all the forms in English with capital letters, except for signature.
• Each candidate must submit only one application for the given group.
• All information including the photographs in all the forms must be identical.
• Paste your most recent & identical photographs (Not older than three months) at appropriate places on the application. The photograph signed should not be defaced.
• The photograph should be duly attested by a Gazetted Officer / the head of the students previous institution.
• Application number must be quoted in all future correspondence. Failure to do so may result in delay and even our inability to attend your request.
• Square boxes provided in the forms are only for writing the alphabets in capital or numbers.
• Overwriting, cuttings or erasing in any of the forms should be avoided as it may lead to rejection.

Any discrepancy in the statement and / or submission of incomplete forms will lead to rejection of application / cancellation of admission / appropriate legal action.
