It gives us an immense pleasure to introduce to you SGT University, Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary, Gurgaon, which spreads over 60 acres of lush green campus enveloped with serene beauty and environment. The University is situated at Chandu-Bhudera on the outskirts of Gurgaon, it is less than five kilometers from Delhi border at Daurala and has an easy and convenient access from I.G International Airport.

SGT University came into existence by the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act No. 8 of 2013 making educational opportunities available to all segments of the society under the parasol of Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust, which was founded in 1999 with the holly cause of propagating the message of Shree Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the great philosopher and social reformer which says “spread of learning is the best service to mankind”. In fact, the seeds for its magnificent growth were sown way back in 2002 with the establishment of the SGT Dental College.

Dr. (Mrs) Sarla Hooda​

Dr. Sarla Hooda in addition to Senior Professor & Head of Department of Anaesthesiology at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak is the former Registrar of Pt. B.D.Sharma University of Health Sciences Rohtak (Haryana). She did her MBBS, DA & MD Anaesthesiology from the then Medical College, Rohtak in 1972, 1976 and 1979 respectively. After completing her education she went abroad to further enhance her knowledge and skills in Anaesthesia. On coming back to India she joined Medical College, Rohtak. In 1998 she was promoted to the post of Professor and in 2002 she became Sr. Professor & Head of Anaesthesiology & Critical Care Department at PGIMS, Rohtak. She has been actively involved in teaching both Undergraduate & Post graduate students and guided many students to complete their MD thesis. She has more then 100 research papers in both national & International journals to her credit. She was awarded WHO Fellowship in 1993 in USA.  She has delivered many guest lectures throughout India. Noting her contributions in the field of Anaesthesia She was made the President of North Zone of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologist in 2004-05.

During her service career she has occupied the posts of Dean Academic Affairs of Pt. B D Sharma University of Health sciences in 2009, Dean of Faculties of Surgery and Allied Sciences in 2011, Chairperson of committee for prevention of Sexual Harassment at work place, committee dealing with Unfair means of University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, Grievance cell and other Enquiry Committees at PGIMS, Rohtak. She has also been the Chairperson of Post Graduate Board of Studies in Surgery & Allied Sciences in 2008. In 2012 She was appointed as Registrar of Pt. B.D.Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak By Govt. of Haryana.

She has also been an expert for selection of faculty of AIIMS New Delhi, J&K Government and Haryana Government. an Examiner for MD Anaesthesia of various Universities as well as for DNB examination.

In addition to above she has been a good sportsperson and has won many prizes in both Graduate and Post Graduate carrier.
