Odessa National Medical University
Established in the 1990, it was known as the Medical Faculty of the Novorissyskiy State University. It soon gained popularity as one of the best universities in the Russian Empire. Nobel Laureate I.I. Mechnikov also worked here. In the year 1922 the university was deemed an independent and autonomous unit under the Soviet Rule in Russia at that time.
The university today is the member of the International Association of Medical Universities. It houses 58 faculties and is known all over the western world as one of the finest institutions of medical science. The medium of instruction is in English, Ukrainian, and Russian.

Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, International Faculty & Post Graduate Faculty
It is one of the first universities to get national status. It is recognised by the following organisations:
Ministry of Education and Sciences Ukraine, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ukraine, IMED, ECFMG (USA), MCC (Canada), MCI (India), PMDC (Pakistan), FSMB (USA), SADC (South Africa) and other organisations.
The course duration is 6 years. It is one of the best universities all over Europe and students who graduate from this university are accepted as distinct medical professionals all over the modern world. The university has foreign nationals studying in it from all over including South East Asian Countries, Central Asian Countries, European Countries, African Countries and North American Countries.
